Gemwheel is an intermediary. The identity of each person (seller and buyer) is respected.
Security
Each piece of jewellery is authenticated by the gemmologists iGEM Gemmology Laboratory : nature of the metal and gems, treatments or repairs, etc. You know what you're buying.
An authentication certificate will be given to you at the time of purchase. Sellers are advised on the selling price, so that it is fair for both the seller and the buyer. This is the current second-hand market price.
When you purchase one or more item(s) from the Website, you agree that:
- Before making any purchase, you have inquired about any fees you may incur, such as customs fees, duties and taxes.
- You asked Gemwheel all the questions you wanted to ask and asked for more photos of the item if you felt it was necessary.
- You acknowledge that the item purchased is representative of the seller's listing and that you have read the description of the item in its entirety and the seller's information.
- When you purchase an item, you will need to let Gemwheel know if you would like the item to be delivered to you or if you would like to pick it up at Gemwheel's location in person. If applicable, you will need to make an appointment with Gemwheel at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to pick up the item.
- Gemwheel will provide proof of postage of the item when it is shipped.
- You will assume responsibility and ownership of the purchased item as soon as it is delivered to the agreed delivery address or, if you do not have the purchased item delivered, as soon as you have it in your possession. Gemwheel is not responsible for loss or damage to the item during shipping. The buyer is responsible for taking out all insurance to cover any loss or damage that the item may suffer during shipping.
- In the event that you have not received the item within a reasonable time of being shipped, you are responsible for taking all necessary steps with your insurance company to obtain a refund.
